A change in the month and a change in my writing form. This week, I have managed to bounce back from the inconsistency that plagued me throughout January, and Blue Eyes Book 2 is now back moving again.
It will not be long before I start to consider another edit for this latest work. It will also not be long before Blue Eyes Behind the Mask is ready to be read by the public. I still think another final polish will be needed before I decide to set it free but I am really excited about its prospects.
Talking about my writing always motivates me and gives me a sense of pride. I am always going to networking events for D. Burton Editing, and a question that I often get asked is "how did you get into copy editing?" The answer, simply, is Heartbound.
Heartbound has been a huge influence on my life and if I had not written it, I would most likely have not set up my business and I certainly would not be as confident in my skill and ability. It just goes to show that novels do not only leave an impact on their readers, but their authors as well.
Writing is so rewarding and fulfilling, so if you want to write a novel, don't even think about it. Just write.
